Terms of Service - Clear Budgeting

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Clear Budgeting ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Clear Budgeting is a personal budgeting application that allows users to:

Track income and expenses
Categorize transactions
Scan and process receipts
Sync data across devices (Pro subscription)
Share budgets with family members (Pro subscription)

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Pro Subscription:

Monthly: $2.99 USD per month
Yearly: $19.99 USD per year

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4. Family Sharing

Pro subscribers can create a family group and invite up to 4 additional members (5 total). The family owner is responsible for maintaining an active subscription for family sync features.

5. No Financial Advice

IMPORTANT: The App is a budgeting tool only. It does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. Consult qualified professionals for financial decisions.

6. User Data

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into the App. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter and maintaining your own backups.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
Use the App to store or transmit malicious code

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
