Terms of Service - Family Summit

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Family Summit ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Family Summit is a goals and habits app. Features include:

Setting goals with an on-device AI writing coach
Building recurring habits and tracking streaks
A daily challenge, solo or with family
Optional cloud backup and family sharing for up to 10 members

3. Accounts

The core app works without an account. To use cloud backup or family sharing, you create an account using email, Google, or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your login secure. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App.

4. Free and Paid Features

The App is free to use with on-device storage. "Family Summit Cloud" is an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks cloud backup and family sharing for up to 10 members. A 7-day free trial is offered.

5. In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed through your Apple ID account via Apple's App Store
Family Summit Cloud is a one-time, non-consumable purchase
All sales are final except as required by applicable law
Restore a purchase on a new device using your original Apple ID

6. User Content and Conduct

You retain ownership of the goals, tasks, and comments you create. You agree not to use the App for any illegal purpose, and not to post content to a shared family that is unlawful or abusive.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its content are owned by New Wave Apps and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it or your account.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
