What devices are supported?
Four for Philly requires iOS 26 or later. AI briefings and game summaries require Apple Intelligence, which is available on iPhone 16 or later and M-series iPads and Macs. The app works on older devices but AI-generated content will not be available.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why isn't the AI briefing generating?
AI briefings require Apple Intelligence to be enabled on your device. Go to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri and make sure Apple Intelligence is turned on. It may also take a few minutes to generate after articles load for the first time.
The news isn't loading or sources are missing.
Pull down to refresh on the News tab. If a source fails to load, the app will continue showing articles from the other sources. Occasionally, third-party RSS feeds (PhillyVoice, SB Nation blogs) may be temporarily unavailable — this is outside our control.
Scores or standings look outdated.
Pull down to refresh on the Score or Standings tab to load the latest data. Live scores update automatically every 30 seconds during active games.
A game blurb is missing or inaccurate.
Game blurbs are AI-generated from available articles and box score data. Recaps appear once ESPN publishes game data. If a recap isn't available yet, the app shows a stats-based summary instead, which may be replaced by an article-based recap on your next refresh.
